I like to say I've been collecting Matchbox cars since the day I was born. Coincidentally, Matchbox issued its first ride in 1953—the year I was born—so, maybe I'm partially right. I love the weight of them, the chipped paint that tells a story, and the fact that no two collections ever look the same. Each car has already lived a life—and that’s exactly what makes it interesting. Now I’m opening up my 60+ year collection to fellow enthusiasts who understand the joy of finding “the one” you didn’t know you were missing.
